It had been her wish that her home ‘Byeways’ become a holiday centre for artists,

But this was not possible. Therefore the house in which she lived as a virtual recluse for 40 year’s was sold and the money invested to form ‘The Jean Carr Charitable Trust’. which provides support for the elderly and disabled. Byeways features on the logo.
